GOOD
BONES
Sometimes your skeleton has to hatch.
Some skeletons take "uncomfortable in your own skin" a little more literally than others; sometimes, it's necessary to completely discard what you think you know about yourself and rebuild yourself into something that fits more naturally.
After deciding to leave their meat suit, Remy the skeleton explores their new sense of freedom. While they're out on the town, however, they discover not everyone likes the idea of skeletons just...walking around. No muscles or skin in sight. To try and fit in better, Remy plays with dressing up how they want and to find what makes them feel good, and learn they're not as alone as they thought.
An exploration of piecing together your identity especially in online spaces from pieces of others, and how that greatly overlaps with the trans and especially nonbinary experience.
Contains nonbinary rep (human and skeleton).

Good Bones is a heartwarming story about finding the person who gets you. Recommended for anyone who's worn too many skins before
